Privacy Policy
0. Basic Principle
Life Memory places the personal information of our customers as a top priority, and under no circumstances does the customers’ personal information will be used for marketing purposes. Life Memory will not share the personal information of our customers with third parties in any case other than infrastructure maintenance.
1. Purpose of Privacy Policy
The company has written this Privacy Policy based on Promotion of Information Network Utilization and Information Protection Act, and made our best efforts to explain the handling status of the users’ personal information within the application in detail and in the easiest way possible.
The implications of the following Privacy Policy are as follows.
- It transparently provides information related to what kind of information we (‘Life Memory’) gather, how the information is used, to whom the information will be shared (either ‘consignment’ or ‘provided’), and when/how the information is destroyed after it has achieved its purpose of use.
- As the provider of the information, the users will be informed of the rights they have over their personal information, and how they could exercise such rights. In addition, in the event of a personal information breach, the Privacy Policy will tell the users whom they could contact to prevent further damage and recover from the damage that has already occurred.
- Most of all, the Privacy Policy will define the rights and obligations between the company and the users regarding personal information to ensure the user’s ‘right to informational self-determination.’

Recording Location (only when authorized by user) – To provide location information (It will not be stored on the server)
Memos made on the Recorded Files – Memos that are attached to the selected recording file
Time of Recording Stored in the Bookmark – Required to load the corresponding recording file when the bookmark is clicked
Location Stored in the Bookmark (only when authorized by user) – To provide bookmark location
Memos Stored in the Bookmark – Record the memos made on the bookmark
Bookmark Name – Save bookmark’s name
Settings – Wi-Fi or mobile data usage status, etc. – To prepare for cases when the smartphone is changed
3. Provision & Consignment of Personal Information
In principle, the company does not provide any personal information to the outside without the user’s content. The company does not provide any personal information to the outside without prior consent from the user. However, the personal information will be provided to external parties in the following cases: 1) If a user directly agreed to provide their personal information to use the services of an external partner, 2) in the event where the user becomes obliged to submit their personal information to the company according to related laws. 3) and in the case where an urgent risk to the users’ lives or safety are identified and personal information is required to address such issues.
The company will outsource a part of its work to provide a more convenient and better service.

4.Destruction of Personal Information
Once the purpose of the acquisition/utilization of personal information has been fulfilled, the company will destroy the collected personal information in an irreversible manner. For personal information that exists in the form of electronic files, they are safely deleted by utilizing technical methods which can prevent the recovery of the said information. In the case where the information exists in the form of printed material, they are destroyed through methods such as grinding or incineration.

5. Minimum Age
Only those who are over the age of 17 can use this service.
6. Company’s Efforts to Protect Personal Information
The company does its best to manage the users’ personal information in the safest way, and protects the users’ personal information beyond the level required by the current law/regulation.
The company will securely manage your privacy from both internal and external security threats
- In order to prevent leakage/damage of our members’ personal information due to hacking or theft, the users’ personal information is managed in a system that is installed and operated in a restricted area that limits outside access.
- We install and operate various security systems to protect our users’ personal information from hacking.
- We send and receive personal information safely through the network by utilizing advanced encryption communication methods. We keep the number of individuals who are in charge of our users’ personal information at a minimum.
- We manage the number of staff members who handle our users’ personal information to a minimum.
- Through regular training on the staff members who handle personal information, frequent education for executives and employees, and campaigns that talk about the importance of personal information, we constantly emphasize that protecting the personal information of our users’ is the most important value of our company. We operate a special organization dedicated to the protection of personal information.
- The company has created and operated a ‘personal information protection team’ since the beginning of its establishment.
- Even at this moment, we carry out various technical/administrative protection measures at all times through the security team (which is a part of the ‘personal information protection team’) to make sure that our employees comply with their obligations related to the protection of our users’ personal information.

8. Duty of Notification Prior to Revision
In the case where the contents of this Privacy Policy are added, deleted, or modified, the company will notify the revised contents of this Privacy Policy at least seven days prior to the revision through ‘Notice.’
However, if a significant change in the user’s rights occurs, such as a change in ‘Collected Items,’ or ‘Purpose of Use,’ the user shall be notified of the change at least 30 days in advance, and the user’s consent may be obtained again if required.

Terms of Service
1. We protect your personal information.
The safe handling of your personal information is our biggest priority. The LifeMemory app is specially designed to make it technically impossible for our development team and our company to have access to your recording files. Therefore, you can rest assured. Your personal information will only be utilized to allow you, the users, to use our LifeMemory service with more convenience. Moreover, your personal information will only be used within the scope and purpose of which you agree. You may rest assured since we will never provide your personal information to a third party unless you agree or when such provision of personal information is required by law. If you are interested in further details or our efforts regarding the protection of your personal information, please refer to the Privacy Policy and the Data Collection & Processing Document.
2. We protect the copyrights of your life’s memories in a powerful and secure way.
We believe that protecting the security and copyright of your life’s memories is much more important than anything else. We believe that you must be the one who possesses the right to such data, and our priority is centered on putting resources in place to protect such data. Also, to ensure your ‘right to be forgotten,’ we will delete the requested data within 3 business days once you send us a request to delete your data. 3. However, there might be times where our services can be stopped.
We always do our best to provide LifeMemory service to our users 24/7, 365 days a year. However, there may be times where our service might be temporarily stopped due to temporary server inspections, maintenance/repair of equipment, or any other substantial reasons. In this case, we will make sure to notify the reason through our service screen in advance. In the case where the LifeMemory service is suspended for unforeseen reasons, we will notify you through various channels as soon as we identify the reason.
4. We use a cloud service.
LifeMemory uses a Firebase infrastructure and is subject to GCP Terms and Conditions. We follow the Firebase terms and GCP Privacy Policy.
5. Not everything is guaranteed.
We will always put a reasonable amount of care into our service so that you can use LifeMemory without any restrictions. However, within the extent permitted by the current law, we do not make any guarantees or warranties for any particulars that are not specified in this Terms of Service regarding the service of LifeMemory. For example, we do not make any guarantees about how the LifeMemory service can be used. Instead, we simply ‘provide the service as it is.’ In addition, please do not attempt to interrupt the service or access it in any other way outside of the interface or instructions provided by LifeMemory.
6. Please use our service according to the current law.
Different countries have different laws regarding the issue of ‘recording.’ In using LifeMemory, make sure to observe the current laws/regulations of your country.
7. If you don’t want it, you can cancel our service at any time.
If you want to delete your memories and stop using our service, feel free to let us know at lifememoryapp@gmail.com. Once we receive your request, your account will be suspended within 5 business days, and your data will be completely removed from all devices and servers.
8.Personal information
We collect email information for provide service. for example, when you change smartphone, we need verify your identify using email information. so you can keep access your LifeMemory.
9.Usage analytics
We would like to make out product more useful for you, so we added Firebase Analytics to the LifeMemory app. It collects user behavior information in an anonymous form and transmits it to Google's Firebase servers. That means only usage data is collected, no personally identifiable information. Then we can use Firebase Analytics to create reports of how our App being used. For example, a percentage of users that use certain features, or most popular Android versions and screen sizes among our users. We use these reports to understand how to spend our development resources more efficiently and make our App better. Note that we might share these anonymous infomation reports with third parties. 10.Changes
We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policies, please use a contact form on this page.

In relation to the use of service, LifeMemory may send you e-mails with service notices, management messages, and other information. You may refuse to receive such messages.
